Build reports for Jamf Pro compliance benchmarks

Jamf is excited for everyone to use the new feature of compliance benchmarks now available in Jamf Pro 11.16. At the time of release, we are still working on all the reporting capabilities as it relates to exporting what devices are non-compliant, or how many are compliant. In the meantime, we would like to present a possibility to create an Advanced Computer Search that allows Jamf Pro admins to create customized reports on the status of their managed devices against a particular compliance benchmark.

The following steps should be followed after you have deployed a compliance benchmark:

Now its at this point you will select which group you would like to have a report on. The Smart Computer Groups are displayed in a list allowing for easy selection of either "Compliant" group to gather a report on all Compliant devices in this report, or the macOS operating system non-compliant group for all non-compliant devices with that operating system.

13. Search for or scroll down to the Computer Group criteria and select Choose

14. Now that the selection of what devices should appear in this report is done, we will move into select what fields of data we want displayed in the report

15. Select the Display tab

16. Enable each field under each category that you would like presented in the report

17. After selecting every field needed in the report, select the Reports tab

18. One can either click on Download Report, Configure Email Reports, or Save. (Reminder to click Save when completed.)

Jamf Pro will keep this Advanced Computer Search for referencing later if any admin would like to download or schedule emailed reports in the future. This report can be edited later to include new field, or selecting a new group of computers that are included or excluded moving forward.
