What is Jamf Concepts?

Jamfs often come up with fun and useful utilities but not all of them can make it into our product line, at least not right away, so we wanted a way to share them with you. That’s Jamf Concepts. We’re eager to hear your reactions. If a project looks interesting, try it out. Is it addressing an issue or use-case you care about? Do they work well in your environment? Any ideas of how we can make it better?

This is really nothing new. Since our earliest days, Jamfs have been sharing scripts and apps to do all kinds of things, like collecting extra information with extension attributes, automating workflows, printing reports, uploading/downloading information, or integrating with other systems. These might be shared by Support, or posted in Jamf Nation, in the Apple App Store, or in our Github. We’ll still be sharing things in those venues, but going forward, we’ll be promoting some of our more significant projects here in Jamf Concepts.
